MY APPROACH
In my ongoing journey of self-improvement, I embrace both my strengths and weaknesses, I approach them with optimism, knowing that challenges are an inevitable part of growth. For me, design is a way to communicate ideas, capture emotions, and bring depth and meaning to each project.
My journey
My path to design started on an unexpected, somewhat bumpy road. Although I studied Visual Arts in secondary school, I doubted whether I had the skills to pursue a creative career.
So I took a different direction and enrolled in a Tourism degree, which allowed me to connect with people and learn from their stories. However, in hotels and theme parks where I worked, I was often asked to help with marketing materials and event stationery.
These experiences made me realise that even a simple flyer or invitation could add to someone's experience and communicate emotions, and this was rewarding and made me feel complete again.
This led me back to design, understanding that it was not just a job but a way to blend storytelling with visual expression to make a significant impact.

Experience
Various experiences, including tour guide roles, restaurants, and front desk receptionist positions have influenced my journey. I co-founded a social events business during the pandemic, focusing on event planning and design.
This experience gave me confidence in delivering personal design projects from concept to execution.
Since then, I have expanded my skills as a freelancer and in formal roles, working across print, digital, branding, and video editing.
My recent role as a Visual Designer at a SaaS startup allowed me to refine my skills in campaign visuals, podcasts, and branding.
Each project I work on is a new challenge, a new story waiting to be told.
